One of Ireland's most accomplished female singer/songwriters returns to Humph Hall!

Eleanor McEvoy is respected as a fine multi-instrumentalist (violin, guitar & piano) in both traditional and contemporary music, she's best known for writing Only A Woman’s Heart, the title track of an anthology album that’s gone on to be the best selling recording in Irish History.

Eleanor’s strong Irish accent adds to her renditions of her quirky, perceptive songs, ranging from love ballads and story-telling to left-of-centre takes on the vagaries of life.

Her song “Sophie” about a girl suffering anorexia has become an internet phenomenon with over 1,500,000 hits on YouTube

See YouTube clips of her 2011 performance here at Humph Hall. Visit her web site and her YouTube channel.
