Frankie Armstrong

Workshop: 1-2.30pm,
Concert: 3.30pm
Sunday 25th March. 2012
Humph Hall
85 Allambie Road,
Allambie Heights

On Sunday 25th March, Frankie Armstrong from the United Kingdom returns to Humph Hall to conduct a vocal workshop and present a concert.

Frankie is renowned throughout the world for both her amazing voice and her skills as a teacher and on 25th March we will have the opportunity to experience both right here in Humph Hall!

“You’d be hard-pressed to find a singer on the British folk scene with a voice as powerful, versatile and expressive . . . she has the remarkable ability to vividly convey the imagery of a song, capture and project its every nuance, its every dramatic detail, and perfectly exploit the natural tensions of lyric and melody, always giving the words the space to breathe.” (Keith Hudson - Wales)

The workshop, entitled 'If you can talk you can sing' is designed to be suitable for experienced and beginner singers alike.

Support act for the concert will be Christina Mimmocchi (Blindman's Holiday, Touchwood) together with Chris Wheeler (flutes, vocals) and Jess Dunn (double bass).

Entry by donation.
