The Dingo's Breakfast (WA)

The Dingo's Breakfast

Roger Montgomery

As anyone who has seen him steal the show at the National Folk Festival Poetry Debate can tell you, Roger Montgomery is an entertaining and funny speaker with a knack of getting straight to the heart of matters that most of us would prefer to gloss over.

Within the context of the Dingo's Breakfast, Roger can be seen and heard playing an assortment of guitars, a banjo (badly), harmonicas, tin whistles, a largerphone and occasionally a bodhran. He sings, he calls dances, spruiks poetry and yarns and is a compere beyond compare.

Songs & Stories from WA's Turbulent Northwest

A swag of great Songs and Stories from the families of the Pibara Iron Ore mining towns, Shearing Ballads from the vast sheep stations of the Gascoyne River, lairy tales from the wild West Australian Goldfields and more . . .

Presented by the Dingos for your delectation . . . with the accent on comedy of course!
